Education

The program committee strives to provide high quality and low cost continuing education programs relevant and unique to the practice of clinical social work. The program committee conducts 3-4 continuing education programs each year including an annual ethics workshop, which is offered at no-cost to members. Our programs address a broad range of clinical methodologies and areas of practice.Speakers may be local clinicians or nationally known. In the past, programs have included Terry Real – Couples Therapy, Robert Weiss – Sexual Addiction, Jean McLendaon –Virginia Satir Legacy and Beyond, Laurie Watson – Sex Therapy with Couples, and Nancy Berson – Treating the Traumatized Child.

The committee welcomes suggestions and recommendations from members regarding programs or speakers as our mission is to provide programs most relevant to NCSCSW members.
