Insight and Self-Stigma in the Treatment of Bipolar Disorder
Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
Category: Virtual Trainings

Mental health professionals know that insight is important in the treatment of SMIs, but what does high insight actually mean? How can it change based on mood state in Bipolar Disorder, and how is it linked to increased self-stigma? This training explores what research says about insight and self-stigma as it relates to Bipolar Disorder and provides clinicians with specific treatment targets utilizing evidence-based modalities to increase insight and decrease self-stigma in clients.

This conference provides 2 contact hours of continuing education credit for social workers. Certificates will be provided following the training.
